The tiny hands series are amazing considering that they prepackage crafts projects together in individually wrapped sets.
Very easy to set up and get right to crafting!
Our final 2 sets also have been wonderful for the toddler\preschool cusp age children in the 2-three year old range, really frankly a market grossly overlooked.
I am torn with this set, considering that even although it was a bit frustrating for my kid who is just beneath the reccomended age. I honestly cannot believe of how to make it alot more friendly for the Littler Tiny hands...
This one particular certainly is extra for the four and up age children just for the hand strength and dexterity required for some "intricate" (for young youngsters) cuts that need to be made.
That or A LOT of parent "support" Translation they have to do a fair amount of cutting.
Some cuts can ruin a project with just a "small" slip, as occurred to us. That is with us helping him, but at three 1\2 he gets way more frustrated if we have to help him, he really wants to do items himself.
FOr the record it is amazing for the older crafters or those with decent scissor abilities.
I just was expecting it to be a small far more "friendly" for the very first time cutters in the younger age group to let them hone abilities without ruining projects..
That is where I was disappointed I was hoping it would be good practice to develope expertise.
Nevertheless a excellent activity for the kids that can concentrate and have the dexterity.
My 3.five year old daughter loves art kits and this was 1 of her favorites. Cutting is a challenging process to find out and this gave her the incentive and confidence to master it. Actually, she was a beginner cutter when we began but by the time we finished all the sets, she was genuinely especially great at turning the paper and cutting sharper angles. The scissors in the kit are not fantastic (they get "stuck" on the the paper) but we had some kid scissors and just switched to those. Wish there was yet another cutting kit!
