We got 3 of these Alex Boxes for Christmas. They are so great. There is craft after craft in these. When you are limited on time - how great is it to be able to grab the box and have an activity ready to go! The tissue one is a great starter because you just peel and stick. The ones with the glue stick take a little more hands on from the parent but it is so great that everything is included - including the glue stick. It is all contained in a box so you don't have parts everywhere. Really fabulous!
I bought this to help keep my 3 year old busy. At the moment he is really interested in pasting things together. The crafts are nice. Some of the projects are about completing patterns. I didn't like the tissue paper projects- fortunately there were only 2 of those. My son isn't interested in following instructions, so I just let him do the projects his own way- which is the best way to let a strong minded individual do most projects.
