While this product does appear to be fun, it is quite small. It will work well for my petite 4 year old niece, it may be too small for an older girl. The packaging is very durable (as are all Melissa ; Doug products) and it seems like it will be fun for her to decorate. I would give it better reviews if it was a little larger. Also, it appears to be made of some kind of porcelain or something so that may be an issue for rougher play. However, I still think it is a decent buy.
This toy is fun to decorate and very creative. However I did find the purse very small and this was a let down.
