This tool is tricky. I work with students ages 6-14, and while the older students have mastered the device, the younger students are frustrated by it. It requires good fine motor skills; you have to use the right pressure (or the paper tears) and apply glue with a light hand (or the beads get stuck on the device).
Its a fun way for them to be creative. I have a necklace of recycled beads and love it for its multicolors that go with everying.
