I purchased these cards for my 5 1/2 year old autistic daughter. She has a really short attention span for most things. We were traveling from Michigan to California and I packed her backpack full of assorted activities. She worked on these cards the whole 4 1/2 hour flight and loved them! She didn't touch any of the other activities in her backpack. She didn't even want to watch the movie--which is very rare! The placement of small stickers really helps her with her fine motor as well. The only thing I would change is the packaging. The box is so huge for the amount of things inside...
These mosaic cards are both beautiful and fun. My daughters, 9 and 5, really enjoyed making them. Unlike the larger mosaic pictures which can become a little tedious to finish, the cards are the perfect size. There are extra mosaic tiles included in case some get lost, fall off or are damaged. Unlike some other birthday gifts, this one is fun to do and then fun to give away. My girls really enjoy picking out which card they'll make for a friend's birthday. All the girls at my daughter's friend's birthday party (9 year olds)were oohing and ahhing over the card. I think it's a wonderful gift for little girls that doesn't increase clutter.
