My 10 year old daughter spent the afternoon creating one-of-a-kind, mini-scrap books using Arterro's bookmaking kit. Instead of following the directions of another rigid step by step craft kit, the open ended design of this kit allowed her to make use of her creativity. She cut up old photos and glued them to the pages to make creative collages and personalized other pages using fine point felt tip pens. The unique papers, colorful strings and beads made her books stand out--they look like they came from a boutique. An afternoon of fun all tucked into one pouch! Great product!
I was not impressed with this craft kit. The kit is very small and it makes 4 very small thin books, not what I expected for the price. If it was 1/3 of the price I would haven't been as disappointed but for this price point I expected much more. I do appreciate that the kit is made in the US and all materials are recycled papers but it is overpriced.
