This castle was fun for our whole family to paint. While some of the detail was small for younger kids (5 and under), there were still plenty of open spaces for them to run free with the paint. There was an abundance of paint to complete the project and there was plenty left over. It is a cute family-time project that did not take very long so everyone was able to stay focused and participated. Very solid item as would be expected from Melissa and Doug!

This item was a lot of fun for my 6 yr old. She enjoyed the painting ; building the shawdow box.The instructions were pretty easy to follow ; the box was very easy to assemble. I defintely would buy another one like it. Fun thing to do on a rainy afternoon.Oh, and clean-up was easy,too!

Children's paint by number
