This was a fun project for me and my 6 year old granddaughter. We spent, maybe an hour, by the time we opened the package, put it together and painted it. We both enjoyed putting the project together but mostly it was just a neat time to do something like this together, talk and goof off (There might be a little bit of the paint still on the kitchen table but grandma is very loving and tolerant of us!). This project and the birdhouse were the granddaughter's favorites. It's hard to find this much fun for the price.
We purchased these as beginner wood projects for our 4-H club and they were a huge success. All of the kids were able to complete the feeders in about 45 minutes.
