I bought this for my 8 year old daughter after she had received a smaller, similar version and really enjoyed it. This kit is a lot of fun but the pieces all need to be kept somewhere besides the box. She has enjoyed making pictures for everyone using her new kit. Some of the papers are easier to use than others.
I bought this for my six-year-old daughter and nine-year-old niece. They both had fun with it, as it makes even the simplest of drawings look really cool. It comes with a few sheets of 4 different types of paper, two drawing sticks, and a lot of stencils. The drawing sticks tend to get dull fairly quickly, but as the instructions indicate, sand paper helps sharpen it back up. It would be nice if it came with more sheets of paper, but other than that, it's a good buy. Best of all, there's no mess to clean up! :)
