Paint fades, becomes gelatinous April 6, 2012

I bought two sets of these for my daughter's 5th birthday party -- as a party activity. It was a lot of fun and the kids each took home their suncatcher (on a plate, some were not dry).The BIG downside --- is the paint is terrible. Shortly after hanging my daughter's suncatcher in a window, the paint began to fade. Now it's barely there. We will have to repaint it, with a different kind of paint.We had also some sun catchers left over to paint at a later date, and when we re-opened the paint to use the rest of it we found it had become completely gelatinous. Like jello! The containers were sealed properly and only a few weeks had passed since we had first opened our suncatcher sets.. Very disappointed.All in all, I feel like this set is not worth the money.. unless you want to invest in better paint because it will fade and FAST. It's a shame because the plastic suncatcher seem to be good quality.

My nine year old wanted some sun catchers for Christmas. Therefore, I got some for her. She has painted a couple of them and did very well. She only used a thin layer of paint and it covered nicely. They are sun catchers and are not supposed to have a "thick" layer of paint so it worked out well. I have hung them up on a sliding glass door and when the sun catches them, they are so pretty. She has managed to put a smile into my sunny days! She enjoys painting these and wants more. I hope to find more for the low price that I got these for.

I do not recommend buying this product. The paint is gloppy and doesn't stick to the plastic suncatcher. Also,the paint is not a washable paint and stained my girls hands. They were very disappointed.

Paint does not stick
the paint does not stick to the plastic sun catcher - we finished almost all the paint and practically gobbed in on, but when it dried, it wasn't very nice.
