The project is easy enough to finish within a half hour, but the kit does not give you enough material to finish the project. You wind up with "holes" around the skirt where there is not enough material to fill it. The band that you attach the material to is just an elastic band that fit my 4-year-old just fine (she is 37 pounds). It's cute, but they need to include more material.
It's hard for little fingers to make loops with the tulle strips, let alone accordion pleats with layers of tulle. There aren't nearly enough strips to cover the elastic waistband. The doubled-over strips are also too short. And the end result will not look like the picture on the box. If you do a search for "no sew tutu", you can find out how to make a much better tutu, for the same amount of effort, that will probably cost a lot less.
